Sam Ryder rose to prominence via TikTok, where, starting with the first lockdown during the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020, he started posting his music covers. Sam became the most followed artist on the platform, leading him to sign a record contract with Parlophone and the management agency TaP Music.
