Transatlantic Family Band

Formed in Brooklyn, New York, the band’s name was born of founder member Ben Clarke’s travels between New York & London, whilst writing and making music- also serving as recognition that a band can be much like a family. Now based in London, Ben Clarke is joined by Mike Hemsley on guitar, Ryan Burke on bass, Geoff Sadler on keys/percussion and Lui Rampino on drums. TFB’s expansive sound takes influence from psychedelia, captured space waves, the music of India and rock ‘n’ roll. Lyrics explore what we know about life, and what we don’t. Expect relentless rhythms, eastern drones, waves of melodic, transcending bass, blankets of swirling guitars and luscious melodies to cut the haze.
