them:youth were recording some singles in The Pool recording studios in 2009. This is an interview they gave on the Miloco website.

Miloco: It’s great to have you here at Miloco. What project are you doing here and when’s it due to be released?
TY: Columbia Records have paid for us to come here and record two tracks (“The Signal” and “White Light”). No release date as of yet.

Miloco: Which Miloco studio were you using (and why did you choose it/them)?
TY: The Pool and it was recommended to us by Columbia Records… haven’t actually found The Pool yet ?

Miloco: How would you describe the material you are working on?
TY: Posh NOIZE!

Miloco: Who was your studio assistant, and how was your studio assistant?
TY: Matt Wiggins – Straight-A Student, top of the class.

Miloco: How did you come about working with Daniel Rejmer on this project?
TY: Daniel was highly recommended to us by Columbia Records.

Miloco: What does he bring to the project that other producers / engineers wouldn’t?
TY: Colourful jumper and nice beard. X

Miloco: What was your strangest experience so far this year?
TY: Funny-shaped pink tablets bought in Benidorm for 10 Euros.

You are placed in front of a time machine. Which year in history would you travel to and why?
TY: 1967 – The summer of love.
