What project are you doing here at Miloco (e.g. recording, mixing or remixing/single tracks or album) and when’s it due to be released?
Recording possible songs for future singles

Which Miloco studio are you using and why did you choose it?
The Pool – our producer chose it

Please describe The Pool in one line:
Classroom – drawers full of mad stuff

Who was your studio assistant, and how was your studio assistant?
Oli Wright. Oli was the best fucking assistant EVER!

How would you describe the material you are working on?
Punky / Ska-ey?? Jam-esque.

Tell us about a few of your main influences, musical and not-so-musical, on your tunes.
The Jam, The Specials, The Clash, The Police
Chavs, mates, nights out, birds

How did the name, ‘Underground Heroes’ come about? What does it mean?
Sounds quite good? Sounds English!!

How did the working relationship with co-producers Paul Epworth and Mark Rankin come about?
We are managed by the same company as Paul. Paul is the “Don Daddy” producer anyway! + Mark’s the best!

What do you think Paul and Mark bring to the recording project that other engineers and producers wouldn’t/couldn’t?
Herpes / A shit load of knowledge about every instrument. Stupidly specific about little things – makes all the difference!

A few silly questions that really don’t mind silly answers!! –

The song you wished you’d written:
‘Don’t Look Back Into The Sun’ – Libertines

What’s the strangest rumor any of you have heard about yoursleves?
Aaron had a big cock, + Jak was fit

What’s the worst behaviour you’ve ever witnessed at a gig? (Can be your own / someone else’s / a combination of the both…)
Ripping heaters off walls, letting off fire extinguishers and putting the ryder across the windows (not the beer).
