The newly released fourth album ‘Battle Born’, from The Killers had three tracks mixed by Alan Moulder at our Assault and Battery 1 studio. The title track ‘Battle Born’, ‘Runaways’ and ‘A Matter Of Time’.
The album explores love, families and broken homes all tied together with big choruses and uplifting ‘Killers’ sing a long anthems, making the album seem a lot less bleak than the themes would suggest. This time round the sound takes Brandon’s previous label as, ‘indie kid floor fillers’ right to the doorstep of arena rock and stadium fillers. That could well be something to do with the U2 influences coming from Steve Lillywhite who part produced the album.
