Ramone Rochester, aka Ramz, burst onto the airwaves, playlists in charts in late 2017 with his smash single ‘Barking’. The track about a girl from east London climbed to #2 on the UK charts, and at the time of writing has achieved Platinum status. Not bad for a 22 year old artist from South London.
In the two years since Ramz has kept active, releasing six new singles and an EP, and today the BRIT nominated artist returns with his first single for 2020, ‘Belong To The Streets’. Produced Jahaan Sweet and 169, ‘Belong To The Streets’ is in keeping with Ramz’s signature auto-tuned melodic vocals that his fans know and love him for.
Having worked with many UK urban acts, Miloco engineer Jamie McEvoy has a wealth of knowledge in this genre and style, and was able to lend his talents to engineering the single.
