New York based duo Sofi Tukker took the world by storm when their single ‘Best Friend feat. NERVO, The Knocks & Alisa Ueno’ became the soundtrack of the iPhone X launch in September 2017.
But this isn’t the first major achievement for Sophie and Tucker, who were nominated for a 2017 GRAMMY for Best Dance Recording for ‘Drinkee’, a track from their 2016 debut EP Soft Animals.
Pieces of 8 engineer Bryan Wilson mixed both ‘Drinkee’ and ‘Best Friend’ in The Red Room London.
