London based singer-songwriter Grace Carter returns today with her latest single ‘Fired Up’. Grace captured the world’s attention with her 2018 EP Why Her Not Me, helping her land in third place of BBC Sounds’ coveted Sound of 2019 list.
Now, Grace is back with a new release, featuring the soulful melodies and layered vocals she’s becoming known for. The track was recorded at Guy Chambers’ Sleeper Sounds, a Miloco partner studio, by our Chief Engineer Simon Todkill and assisted by Claude Vause.
“Like most every song we worked on with Grace – was about pushing the songs as far as we could sonically and seeing what stuck,” says Simon, when asked about the sessions. “I think that’s one of the reasons all the songs we did have so much energy in them, we were all super excited just to experiment!”
