UK post-punk band White Lies, formerly known as Fear Of Flying, have released their fifth studio album Five today 10 years (almost to the day) since the release of their debut album.
Beginning recording on the album in the spring of 2018, the band spent sessions working in Miloco partner studios Sleeper Sounds and Assault & Battery 2. Enlisting the help of producer James Brown (Arctic Monkeys, Foo Fighters) the band and their team were assisted by James Mellor and Richie Kennedy for the Sleeper Sounds and A&B sessions, respectively, and had A&B owners Flood and Alan Moulder lend their skills producing and mixing, respectively.
