Life’s What You Make It is the long-awaited new EP from English alt-rock band Placebo.

All four studio recordings on LWYMI were recorded in The Pool in early 2016 with producer Adam Noble, and the studio’s in house assistant Jamie McEvoy. “36 Degrees (2016 version)” from A Place For Us To Dream was also recorded in these sessions.

Despite being six tracks long, the EP actually only features one new original song, the single “Jesus’ Son”, which also appears on Placebo’s new compilation album A Place For Us To Dream, which was released in August 2016.  LWYMI features three cover songs, of Talk Talk’s “Life’s What You Make It”, Rowland S. Howard’s “Autoluminescent” and Freak Power’s “Song #6” as well as two live versions of their 2004 track “Twenty Years”.
