The Nextwave Sessions EP

Released via Frenchkiss Records, The Nextwave Sessions EP features 6 tracks from the ever explorational Indie Guitar band.

Following on from their previous musical progressions, Bloc Party continue to draw from aspects of both R&B and Electronic genres.

Opener, Ratchet, is the standout track; a twitching, Indie number with a funky bassline and infectious, driving guitar riffs.

Bloc Party were recently in Miloco’s The Pool to record three of the tracks on the EP  – French Exit, Montreal, and Children of The Future. Engineering the tracks was Tom Morris, assisted by Jonathan Sagis.
