Legendary British sting four-piece Brodsky Quartet and Australian signer-songwriter Katie Noonan (george, Elixir) have today released their joint album, With Love And Fury.
The entire project was recorded a few weeks ago at Livingston Studio 1, one of our top London studios for recording strings. The album is a delicate, heart-wrenching collection of tracks that re-imagine the words of iconic Australian poet, Judith Wright.
Recorded in London the album was engineered by Adaq Khan and assisted by Miloco’s Tom Archer. All strings on the album were played by Brodsky Quartet, with compositions by contemporary Australian composers including Carl Vine, Elena Kats-Chernin, Richard Tognetti, Iain Grandage, Andrew Ford, David Hirschfelder, Paul Grabowsky, Paul Dean, John Rodgers and Katie Noonan herself.
Within a few days of release the album had already reached the #1 spot on the Classical Music charts.
