Where to Stay

Wombat's

7 Dock Street, Aldgate, E1 8LL 02076807600 https://www.wombats-hostels.com/london

Wombat's is located a very convenient 50m walk from Dock Street Studio, and has got to be one of the best hostels in London. The bar in the basement, Wombar, is a personal favourite of the studio management. Theres table-football, giant jenga, a pool table, a dedicated beer pong table and much more. We can definitely recommend it! They always have an interesting mix of people staying there and are never short of activities for people looking to explore the city.

QBIC London City

42 Adler Street, London, E1 1EE 0203 021 3300 https://qbichotels.com/london-city/

Located a 10 minute walk from the studio, and a 1 minute walk from Aldgate East tube station. QBIC has some very funky rooms, and a frankly excellent breakfast 'all you can eat' buffet. Definitely worth a stay if you're a fan of coffee too: they have a very fancy espresso machine. Also, live music and gigs are sometimes hosted in the downstairs bar area, so it's definitely worth checking out what's on before checking in.
