Nitehawk's unique Signature Series programming includes LIVE + SOUND + CINEMA, Country Brunchin', Nitehawk Naughties, Nitehawk Nasties, The Works, Music Driven, and Art Seen. The cinema also presents thirty-minute Pre-Shows tailored to each movie that feature local filmmakers and clips curated by Nitehawk's cinema department.
Nitehawk's Williamsburg location is a triplex, hosting a 92- and 60-seat theatre along with its intimate 28-seat theatre. Nitehawk's upstairs lobby and bar plays selected movies to watch while you wait. The beautiful downstairs cafe space offers a full-service food and drink service. Fette Sau is an informal (paper plates and plastic cutlery) barbecue joint just next to the Brooklyn Queens Expressway in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Set back from the street, you'll know it from its pink neon sign and picnic tables. Inside, the restaurant is made from cool concrete, and there's nothing but family-style seating. At the bar you'll see an incredible collection of dark liquors and several beers on tap. Approach the line, where you can order delicious barbecue buffet style. Fill up your tray and head to the cashier where they'll weigh your food. Sit indoors to beat the heat, or join the noisy crowds outside. Fette Sau is a great choice for groups, especially birthday parties, but be sure to arrive on the early side on the weekends - from 8pm. Onwards the restaurant is completely slammed with people. Fette Sau also delivers if you don't want to deal with the crowds - or you can get your barbecue to go.
