Le Manoir de Leon

Located at the heart of the Landes forest and 10 minutes away from the beaches between Biarritz and Bordeaux in South West France, Le Manoir de Léon is a fantastic residential studio. The studio complex is located in three buildings which reside on 1.5 hectares of land, and includes accommodation that can sleep 22 people.

The studio is based around a 48 input Neve 8128 and Pro Tools HD. Monitoring is provided by ATC 5 way custom monitors, Genelecs and Yamaha NS-10's. The live space consists of one large 'live' sounding tracking room which has three booths for separation. Le Manoir De Léon also offers a large selection of backline including a Bosendorfer Grand Piano.

The accommodation is housed in the main 'Manoir', a beautiful 18th century manor house, and also 'La Longer' a separate two bedroom building. The main manor comes with nine bedrooms and has its own large dining room and living room - the perfect place for bands to chill out and relax.

Known as Studio du Manoir from 1980 to 2010, the studio was famous for recording acts such as Siouxsie & the Banshees, Alain Souchon, EMF, Etienne Daho and many others who have shaped the soul of this now renowned studio. Today the beautiful Manoir de Léon has been restored to continue this great legacy.
