At the center of Studio A is an SSL AWS 948 delta mixing console with 48 inputs and 24 built-in SSL preamps. The console works both ways as a recording and mixing console as well as a DAW controller, and it's this versatility that allows Studio A to adapt effortlessly to life as a control room or a producer workspace. SSL X-Racks offer additional dynamics and preamps to expand the options even further; main monitoring is via a pair of ATC SCMASL110 Pro's, accompanied by Genelec 8040s and Auratone 5Cs.
A whole array of outboard equipment is available too, with preamps, compressors, limiters, EQs and FX for different flavors all on hand. The studio has tielines to the rest of the complex so Studio A can be used to record from all other studios and live spaces. A visual connection to the different rooms can also be set up, allowing for the use of reverb chambers such as the old wine barrels or the Orangerie, which can be controlled as easily as every other FX send on the console. There's also a direct line of sight into the Live Room and Studio B.
