Limusic Studio is located on the outskirts of the picturesque town of Limoux, right on the banks of the Aude River and in the heart of the Languedoc-Roussillon wine region. Famous for its beautiful scenery, warm climate and excellent culinary traditions, the region is just as impressive as the studio itself.
Far enough from the town to provide an undisturbed experience, Limusic Studio is still well connected to supermarkets, pharmacies and shops for everyday needs which can be reached within five minutes by car.
The Cité de Carcassonne on the right bank of the Aude has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997. With 4 million visitors per year, it is the city's main tourist attraction and one of the most frequently visited destinations in France.
Within a 30 minute drive, the Cité also spots several restaurants as well as being a concert location during from spring to autumn.
The restaurant opens its doors to you in the former stables of the château, where the walls still bear the vestiges of the past.
In a warm and welcoming atmosphere, you'll have the pleasure of sampling the local cuisine prepared by the chef and owner: suckling pig with honey, snails à la carcassonnaise, crayfish, pan-fried foie gras with figs, cassoulet with duck confit, all accompanied by wines from the estate.
The shady terrace is filled with delicious scents as spring approaches.
In very close proximity to the studio, la Taverne de Bacchus offers a selection of rural French menus. Famous for their selection of locally sourced and expertly prepared premium meat, their offering is traditional and honest.
The best pizza in the region, right at the center of Limoux.
