Overview

Designed with the aim of offering the flexibility and convenience of todays modern recording methods alongside the warmth and character of classic vintage equipment. Love Electric is a boutique studio catering to the requirements of the modern artist / producer.

Love Electric's main live room is a 600 square foot fully sound treated room, with beautiful hardwood flooring. Flexible set up with two additional isolation areas, the room can fit 12 strings players, and comfortably fits bands of up to 8 people.

Each half of the live room offers differing acoustic properties with the "live end" being bright and open, whilst the "dead end" gives a tight dry punchy sound for drums.

Featuring the renowned Bosendorfer grand piano that was formerly at Mayfair Studios and has been featured on recordings by Elton John, Tina Turner, Bryan Adams and many more.

The control room provides the best of both digital and analogue work flows. Based around a Universal Audio Apollo system offering 24 analogue inputs (16 channels UA a/d and 8 via Prism Orpheus). With the needs of the modern artist in mind Love Electric is designed to allow you to bring your own system to the session connecting to our entire analogue front end via a single Thunderbolt cable.

The studio provides a wide selection of preamps by the likes of Calrec, BAE, Manley, Universal Audio and a varied selection of dynamic and eq processing.

Monitoring is provided by Focal SM9s, Yamaha NS10s and Auratone.

Our backline collection comes as included. Featuring classic guitar and bass amplifiers from the likes of Vox, Fender, Marshall, WEM, Roland and Hiwatt. There is also a collection of guitar pedals and instruments (subject to availability) available for your guitar tracking needs.
