Migration Studios is a new, independent, residential recording complex set in the heart of the Cotswolds. The farm boasts a fully modernised five bedroom Cotswold stone farmhouse accommodation, a stunning new recording studio with 270m3 of recording space and beautiful countryside views with unqiue life-sized elephant sculptures.
Since opening its doors, the studio has hosted sessions for the likes of Joy Crookes, Pa Salieu, Isabella Summers (Florence + The Machine), Joy Anonymous, Sainté, Wasia Project, and recorded Elbow's 2024 album Audio Vertigo which went to number 1 in the Official UK Charts.
"Migration engenders gentle creative introspection and is responsible for some of the happiest recording experiences in my 30 years as a recording artist." Guy Garvey - Elbow
Migration Studios is already becoming synonymous with artists pushing boundaries by permitting incredible experimentation in a studio that is filled with exceedingly rare analogue equipment and heavenly acoustics. The studio is already proving itself to be one of the most sought after writing and recording facilities in the UK.
Migration Studios was founded by eminent creative conservationist, Ruth Ganesh, and multi-award winning film composer and music producer, DICKY. Their shared goal was to build an undeniably creative studio and to implement a new enterprise model to raise funds for environmental causes. Migration Studios supports The Great Elephant Migration, which is on target to raise $10m for wildlife conservation and human-wildlife coexistence. All artists that record at Migration contribute to this environmental endeavour.
