Runway Recording Studios

Studio 3 is a spacious and vibrant studio space allowing an abundance of creativity thanks to the high end equipment specification and custom mood lighting. A comfortable large sofa sits at the rear of the studio.

The control room is centred around the excellent Audient ASP4816 console, fusing the sound of analogue with cutting edge mixing and sound. Recording is catered for by two high end Universal Audio Apollo X16 audio interfaces connected to a high spec'd Mac Mini installed with Logic Pro X and Pro Tools Ultimate.

Studio 3 has an abundance of microphone preamps, not only can you opt for the amazing mic preamps on the Audient ASP4816, you also have two Neve 1073 SPX Mic Channels to choose from. Additional outboard includes a pair Empirical Labs EL8XS Ditressors (Brit Mod), a Neve 8803 Stereo EQ and a TUBE Tech CL-1B Compressor.

For monitoring, for main monitors the studio is equipment with the top end Kerr Acoustics speakers, for the midfield there are the incredible ATC SCM25As and for an additional reference there are Avantone Mix Cube Actives. All these are connected together with the excellent sounding Heritage Audio RAM 2000 Speaker Controller.

Studio 3 is equipped with a spacious booth, allowing for group vocal recording and tracking live instruments. The studio is equipped with an array of Neumann and Shure microphones to cover all your requirements, details of which can be found in the equipment list.
