Sensible Music

Sensible Music's main studio consists of a control room and 2 booths with a combined area of 45sq m. Spacious and day-lit, the studio was redesigned by Chris Walls of Level Acoustic Designs and implemented by Justin Spier of Studio Creations.

At the heart of the control room sits a SSL AWS948, allowing you to blend complex analogue and digital workflows. The room was specifically designed to house the behemoth PMC BB5XBD's which are soffit mounted into the back wall, providing you with a world class monitoring set up that never dissapoints. For nearfield, there's also a pair of PMC TB2S +'s.

To the left of the control room a sliding glass door gives you access to the main booth, a fantastic room for drums, percussion and vocals. The booth has floating gobos that can be spun around to reveal a harder surface to provide a brighter and more lively tone. Behind the back wall of the control room is a new booth which used to be a tape room. This can be used as a reamping room, or even as a separate suite for programming or writing.

If that is not enough space for you, or you want to record an orchestra or the whole band in one room, no problem! The studio has a 93sq m rehearsal space with a 30ft apexed ceiling across the car park. The room has 56 tie lines running to the control room along with a HD video feed. 

At your disposal is a vast array of vintage to modern outboard that includes 8 Neve 34128 pres along some great options from Ursa Major, chiswickreach, API and many more.
