Studios 301 Sydney

The brand new Studio 2, features a 35 square metre live recording space with three isolated areas and an adjoining purpose built 45 square metre control room housing an SSL 9000 K series console.

Featuring tier one acoustics and custom PMC monitoring, overall the sound is more intimate than Studio 1 and perfect for indie, rock, pop and folk bands which can record together live but still maintain good separation between instruments by utilising the booths. The recording space is great for recording vocals, killer drums, percussion, amps and acoustic instruments. The two smaller booths are well suited to amp isolation or very dry vocals.

SSL has shaped the sound of almost every notable record in the last 30 plus years and Sydney’s SSL 9000 K continues that tradition with its upfront, responsive and punchy sound. Utilising both vintage and modern gear, additional Neve preamps sit alongside a desirable outboard collection in the control room, the latest iMac Pro, Apogee converters and award-winning PMC MB3S-XBD-A monitors.
