The Vault is the latest writing space to be created within the famed Orinoco Complex, in South-East London.
Comprising a good-sized control room and a vocal booth, the beauty of The Vault is in its simplicity. The control room is centred around a top-spec Apple iMac Pro, running Pro Tools Ultimate or Apple Logic X, and a wealth of plugins from UAD, Waves, Soundtoys, Native Instruments, Valhalla, Antares and Avid. Monitoring comes from the mighty ATC SCM25A active speakers.
The outboard has been carefully selected to provide just the tools an artist needs to get writing straight away. There's preamps from Neve and Chandler, chosen both for their sound and for their front-housed connections to help you get set up in seconds. Compression comes from an 1176 and a Distressor. A USB keyboard is housed in the workstation, all connected and ready to be rolled out and used straight away.
The live room houses a matched pair of Neumann U87s, Shure SM7 and the usuam SM57s. More microphones may also be available in the Orinoco Complex. There's a beautiful John Brinsmead upright piano and a Yamaha acoustic too.
