Studio Overview

Whise Studios is a boutique studio specialising in mixing, mastering, and immersive audio. The team has worked on mixes, masters, and immersive productions for artists including Shaboozey, SKREAM, Dua Lipa, the London Symphony Orchestra, Lucy Rose, T-Pain, and James Blake, among many others, while continuing to champion collaboration, innovation, and exceptional sound.

The studio is a newly refurbished space within the Matrix Studio Complex in South West London—a location with a rich musical history that has been home to countless renowned recording artists, producers, mixing engineers, and mastering engineers over the years.

At the heart of the studio is a 7.5.4 PMC Dolby Atmos monitoring system, with ATC SCM45A, Barefoot Footprint02, and Neumann KH120 monitoring systems also available on request. The analogue signal path features a carefully curated collection of outboard equipment, including the Manley Massive Passive, Manley Variable Mu, SSL Fusion, Thermionic Culture Culture Vulture, SSL G Series Bus Compressor, Neve 542 tape emulators, and many more. An extensive collection of synthesisers—including the Mellotron, Sequential Prophet-5, Moog instruments, and Eurorack modular systems—sits alongside a Kemble Cambridge upright piano and a comprehensive selection of guitars, and studio microphones, including the Neumann U87, Shure SM7B, and Sennheiser MKH418.

The studio is connected throughout via a Dante audio network, integrating a thoughtfully planned three-room layout comprising of a dedicated control room, creative production workspace, and isolated vocal booth. This allows projects to move seamlessly between spaces while supporting efficient stereo and immersive workflows.

The studio was acoustically designed by Level Acoustic Design, with bespoke joinery and interior craftsmanship by Westwood Joinery, creating an environment where technical precision and natural materials exist in balance. Warm wood finishes and curated interiors soften the highly engineered space, resulting in an atmosphere that feels calm, welcoming, and inspiring without compromising acoustic performance.

The result is a studio that combines world-class monitoring and technical capability with a relaxed, immersive environment, where artists can feel completely at home whilst working on music projects at the highest level.
