Duck

British indie rockers Kaiser Chiefs release their seventh studio album, Duck, today on Polydor Records.

The five piece were in and out of Miloco’s rooms from August 2018 to April 2019 working on the 11 track album, taking full advantage of the facilities at residential studio Angelic Studios and The Church in both Studio 1 and Studio 2.

Many members of our team took part in the album’s recording working alongside producers Ben H Allen & Gregg Alexander. Billy Halliday engineered on the album with Joe Wander, Luke Gibbs and The Church’s Luke Pickering and Chloe Kraemer assisting on the sessions.

Much of Duck was recorded at Angelic Studios, including the lead single ‘Record Collection’, with vocals and the album’s second single ‘People Know How To Love One Another’ and album track ‘The Only Ones’ recorded at Paul Epworth’s Church Studios.
