Baltic is a recording studio complex and creative centre in Haggerston, East London. Since the studio's inception in 2012, Baltic has housed many now legendary albums from artists such as Bjork, Skepta, Arctic Monkeys, Thurston Moore, Paloma Faith, James Bay, Jessie Ware, Glass Animals, MIA and more.
The complex comprises 3 studios;
Studio 1, a large multi-room recording and mixing studio centred around a custom SSL G Series Console, with a generously-sized live room, a control room and 3 booths.
Studio 2, a large multi-use space which is flooded with natural light, with a great selection of equipment and a dedicated dressing room - perfect for larger recording sessions, orchestral work, filmed sessions & writing camps.
Studio 3 - a writing & production room centred around an API "The Box" console and packed to the brim with a large collection of modular synthestizers and analogue outboard.
Over the years Baltic has become a popular destination for photoshoots and film crews. Each space is specced with a Phillips Hue system allowing the colour and brightness of any light to be altered to taste.
