Black Rock Studio Legacy: Santorini

In 2009, Black Rock opened its doors on the volcanic island of Santorini with a simple ambition: to create a recording environment unlike any other and put Greece on the map of the international recording industry.
Set against the Aegean landscape, Black Rock quickly became known not only for its distinctive sound and creative atmosphere, but for the artists it attracted from around the world. Over the years, the studio hosted an extraordinary range of international artists, including OneRepublic, Joe Bonamassa, Justin Bieber, Steve Harris, Rex Orange County, Daniel Caesar, Yungblud, Bring Me The Horizon and Skrillex
Its reputation grew far beyond the studio walls. Black Rock earned international recognition and industry awards, while its unique setting and work with leading artists brought it a strong and lasting presence in the international music press. It became a destination in its own right , a place where the environment, the people and the music came together to create something truly distinctive.
Today, the journey continues in Mykonos. The location has changed, but the philosophy remains the same: great music needs space, inspiration and the right environment to come alive.
