Black Rock

The recording studio at Black Rock is located on the ground floor of a three story luxury villa.

The heart of the studio is a spacious 40 m² naturally lit control room, with panoramic views overlooking the infinity pool and the Aegean Sea. At its center sits a pristine SSL 9080 J Series console featuring Ultimation and Total Recall, complemented by an outstanding monitoring system including Focal Utopia Main 212 speakers with dual Focal Cinema subwoofers, alongside KRK VXT6 and Genelec 8050/8040 nearfield monitors. A Pro Tools HDX system running on an Apple Mac Pro provides a powerful recording platform, supported by a carefully selected collection of premium outboard equipment, including Neve 1081 Classic preamps, Manley compressor, Distressors, UREI 1176 compressor, Requisite Audio pre amp-compressor, and an extensive range of effects units. The studio also offers a versatile microphone collection featuring models from Neumann, AKG, Royer, Shure, and Sennheiser.

Adjacent to the control room is a 45 m² live room, acoustically designed to deliver exceptional recordings across a wide range of instruments. Its unique architecture creates a rich palette of natural drum sounds while remaining equally suited strings, percussion, and other instruments. Large windows flood the space with natural daylight, creating an inspiring atmosphere with uninterrupted views of the pool and the sea.
The studio also includes two dedicated isolation spaces. A beautifully designed 15 m² vocal booth offers both acoustic precision and spectacular sea views, making it an inspiring space for vocals. A separate 17 m² isolation room can accommodate high-volume guitar and bass amplifiers and is spacious enough for a full drum setup when additional isolation is required.

Throughout the facility, large soundproof windows and glass doors provide excellent visual communication between every recording space while maintaining complete acoustic separation. Every room benefits from abundant natural light and uninterrupted views of the Aegean, creating an environment that is both technically uncompromising and creatively inspiring.

Beyond the studio, Black Rock offers an exceptional luxury retreat.
