At the heart of Hansa is the 130 sq. m live room, which is bathed in daylight by a series of windows, and whose large size lends itself to live band and large ensemble recordings.
The control room contains a SSL 4000 E-series mixing console with 56 channels, together with a G-series computer for fader automation and total recall. The main monitors are Quested Q412B's, with nearfield monitors such as ADAM S3a, KRK E8B Exposé, Yamaha NS10, Auratone 5c, Genelec 1030, and others available upon request. In the outboard racks, there is a selection of classic analogue equipment, including compressors like Urei 1176/1178,LA2A, TubeTech CL1a, EMT or Valley, filters from Manley, Helios and Siemens, as well as reverb from Lexicon, EMT, Quantec or Yamaha. Recordings are laid down on two Studer A800 MKIII synced-48 track, or ProTools HD3 System with 40 IN and 48 OUT on ProTools 9 or 10 HD.
The Marble Room is clad in Italian marble, giving it exceptional acoustics. It is ideal for drum or amp recording with direct visual contact to all rooms.
The small vocal booth is ideal for dry-vocal or amp recording. There is visual contact into all rooms from the booth as well.
