    • EMI Neve 24x 1093 Mic Pre

      EMI Neve

This 72 channel vintage EMI Neve console is the only one of its kind in London. Comprised of two halves – one which lived in Abbey Road where it recorded hits such as Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here, and the other from the famous Pathe Marconi studios in Paris – this is an incredible piece of kit. The size of it alone is a sight to behold, but the quality it produces - vintage Neve warmth at its supreme best - is what's causing a real fever pitch among producers and engineers.

One of the earliest examples is the Roland RE-201 Space Echo, a combination tape echo and reverb introduced in 1974. While Roland didn’t invent the tape echo itself, they took a fragile and often unreliable technology and turned it into something robust and roadworthy and the RE-201 immediately became the touring and recording studio standard in portable tape echo.
