Studio Filming Locations in London

In North London is the glam rock 'n roll vibe of Livingston 1, with it's warm colour palette and rich wood panelling and stone walls. Check it out in this video by Olly Murs.

If you're looking for a London studio location with a point of diffrence, then you can't go past Lightship 95, a studio housed in a big red ship at Trinity Buoy Wharf in E14. If you're after more space we'd recommend The Pool, housed in Miloco's Bermondsey HQ. It's got plenty of room, stacks of gear for backdrops, customised HUE lighting and a cool warehouse vibe. In West London you'll find Sleeper Sounds Dubbed a "writer's paradise" Sleeper Sounds is packed full of instruments and gear that make for excellent props and backdrops, as well as interesting light fittings and large windows for plenty of light. Nearby Battery Studio 2 gives off an instant old school vibe, with lots of deep colours, plush drapery and decorations reminiscent of 1970s rock 'n roll. 

We also have some great options a short way out of London, including Oxfordshire's Angelic Studio. Housed in a sprawling farm the studio and residence combines rural charm and rock n roll elegance, creating a great backdrop for videos, as in this one by Gang Gang Dance. 

Located just off the coast of Essex is the idyllic Osea Island, a gorgeous complex of studios and accommodation in the Blackwater Estuary. Filming here can be done on the property or on the beach just outside, as Indians did in this video. 

The Cold Stores is a large secluded studio 35 minutes by train from central london near to Tonbridge in Kent. It has a very large new live room which is fantastic for video shoots looking for a clean studio backdrop.
