The Bridge is one of London's most comfortable and best writing studios. It is based in the Miloco HQ building in London SE1, and consists of a large comfortable control room and two booths.
In October 2016 the control room received some new additions and some cosmetic improvements. A brand new Audient ASP8024 Heritage Edition console and some Augspurger Solo-12 MF Mid range speakers with two 12" subs were installed. At the same time we built some new bass traps making the monitoring a lot tighter. The console provides 24 channels with 48 inputs. Plenty of inputs for a writing session and more than enough channels to mix down on to. A large leather sofa, coffee table and some brand new atmospheric Hue multi coloured lights complete the room's relaxed and creative vibe.
The Bridge is the perfect studio to start making a record in. We have designed the room to be a creative haven. There is a great selection of mic pre-amps (including API, Neve, Focusrite, Tube-Tech and SSL), lots of microphones, a fantastic choice of analogue keyboards, some great backline including an upright piano, Rogers drum kit and plenty of guitars and amps. All recording is done on the Pro Tools HDX rig running Pro Tools 12 or the latest version of Logic. With the included UAD card and brand new Augspurger monitors it also serves as a powerful 'mixing in the box' room.
Clients using The Red Room London (the SSL mixing and writing room next door) can choose to also hire The Bridge as an additional writing space. This makes the studio ideal for larger writing groups or writing camps.
Recent clients have included Adele, Ardyn, Skepta, Monsters & Strangerz, G-Eazy, Eliza Doolittle, Jesus & Mary Chain, Knox Brown, Jess Glynne, Emeli Sande, Plan B and many more...
