The Shelter owner Leo Abrahams is a London-based composer, guitarist and producer, who has worked with a multitude of artists in a career spanning over 450 releases. These include long-standing collaborations with Brian Eno, Jon Hopkins and David Holmes, and range from the experimental to the mainstream.
Abrahams' career began touring as the guitarist for Imogen Heap. He has since recorded for Mark Ronson, Harry Styles, Paul Simon and Ed Sheeran, amongst many others. He has also co-written or arranged a variety of film soundtracks including Peter Jackson's 'The Lovely Bones' and Steve McQueen's 'Hunger.' His production credits include Regina Spektor's "Remember Us to Life", Wild Beasts' "Present Tense", Paolo Nutini's "Caustic Love" and Ghostpoet's "Dark Days + Canapés".
Leo will usually be on hand to welcome you to the studio, and depending on the needs of project, he'll be happy to assist you - or just leave you to it.
