Yellow Shark Recording Studio

Built in the centre of Cheltenham, Yellow Shark has a unique feel and quality. The interior design and mood was created by the young artist Thomas Drew with help on the acoustics from the team at ATC, who provided monitoring in the main control room. The atmosphere is warm with extensive use of colour and texture to create a level of comfort to help artists deliver their best work in confidence. 

The layout and room design gives up to five times separation through a combination of two large rooms and sound booths all linked by camera and wide screens for eye contact with no latency. Aviom monitoring gives each artist full control of their personal headphone mix for exact monitoring requirements. The studio is around 1000 Sq feet and has a roomy feel and plenty of daylight, it has diverse acoustic treatment giving a combination of choices from dry to a more wet acoustic feel all adjustable through positioning large acoustic screens and dense acoustic curtaining.

Yellow Shark's engineers are highly focused on delivering only the best results using a broad range of recording formats to suit individual taste and budget.
