Heavy Is The Head

Whether you’re based in the UK or elsewhere around the world, you’d be hard-pressed not to know the powerhouse that is Stormzy. The chart-topping artist has been grabbing headlines for years for his music, his passionate politics, and of course recently, for his infamous performance on the Pyramid Stage at this year’s Glastonbury.

Today Stormzy is back today with his highly anticipated second studio album, Heavy Is The Head.

Once again collaborating with Miloco engineer Darren Jones, many of the album’s tracks were recoded by Darren in various Miloco partner studios and London’s Metropolis Studios. This includes the first single off the album, #1 ‘Vossi Bop‘, which had al the vocals recorded by Darren at Guy Chamber’s West London studio Sleeper Sounds. It was here that Darren also recorded ‘Own It’ a huge collaboration between Stormzy, Ed Sheeran and Burna Boy, assisted by Joe Wander.
