Guilford Sound has two lodging choices:
The Earth House, a newly constructed modern housing facility that can accommodate 10 guests (each suite can have a king bed or two twin beds). In keeping with our quest to minimize our impact, the new passive solar building is high performance, built into the hillside and topped with a living roof. The Earth House has five suites, six bathrooms, a fully equipped chef's kitchen, a large living room, a screened-in porch, and is surrounded by miles of hiking trails.
During the warmer months, artists can choose to stay in the Ashworth House, a restored, historic 1790's farmhouse. Ashworth House has four bedrooms with full beds and one with a twin, two shared baths (large and fully modernized), a small kitchen, and a large stone patio with amphtiheater seating and a grill. Dave and his wife Sara restored the house in a way that stays true to its heritage while providing comfortable and cozy housing.
Both houses are just a short walk through the woods. The lodging campus can also be accessed through a woodland road or from the main road.
