One of London's famous Victorian palaces, Ally Pally sits atop a hill immediately North West of Wood Green and boasts one of the very best views of the city. Alexandra Park, which sits infront of the palace, is a popular spot for walking and picnics.

Although slightly further afield in Harringay, The Salisbury may still be worth a visit especially for avid real ale drinkers - they have a fantastic choice of cask, keg and bottled beers. The food menu is of the pizza / burger ilk.
