Osea Island is ideal for large residential recording sessions. Besides the many writing cottages and apartments, the Manor House has 10 bedrooms and offers guests a real taste of luxury...
Built around 1900 the Manor House is a classic Edwardian seaside residence. Set 25ft above sea level it provides breathtaking views along the beach and across the estuary. This stunning mansion has retained its grandiose exterior features from the Edwardian era, with the interior sympathetically modernised to capture the charm of the period while also being contemporary and sophisticated.
The house is spread across three floors. Joining East Point Studio on the ground floor are two reception rooms, one of which has a full size billiards table and shelves hundreds of antiquarian books. Guests can enjoy Sky TV or sit in front of an open fire, and of course the stunning sea views are mesmorising. A large country style kitchen can seat upto 10 people, or for the more lavish occasion make use of the dining room, which can accommodate 20 people. Food prepared at the house is a delicious range of wholesome cuisine using local seasonal produce - see the catering page for more information on the Osea Island menu.
The 10 bedrooms and suites have been individually styled with maximum comfort in mind. The beautiful 4-poster and antique beds are dressed with Egyptian cotton linen. On the first floor are six bedrooms, all of which have 4-poster double beds. Three of the rooms have en suite bathrooms, Sky TV and sea views. The remaining bedrooms are on the second floor which have views of either the sea or the orchard. Two of the second floor bedrooms have Sky and 4 poster-beds, and there is also a separate lounge on this level. Both upper floors have breakfast rooms, their own kitchens and shared bathrooms.
