There are so many different outdoor and indoor activities on Osea Island that there should be something for everyone. From sailing and fishing to massage treatments and yoga activities that can be organised externally.
To Visit
Boat Hire
You can hire anything from small fishing and sailing crafts to historic, 50-person Blackwater barges at Osea Island. Pre-booking is required. If you miss the tides you can travel from the mainland by river taxi.
Sailing Lessons
You can purchase sailing lessons which are taken out on the estuary. View this beautiful part of the world from out at sea...
Canoeing
If you feel like getting even closer to the water than you can in a boat, then pick up a paddle and jump in one of the canoes that are available to hire.
Fishing
There is both Sea Fishing and Fly Fishing available to guests on the island.
Beaches
You can enjoy some excellent beach strolls all year round, or catch the rays while gazing out to sea during the warmer months.
Swimming
There is an outdoor swimming pool open between April 30 and October 1, and of course plenty of sea to take a dip in too.
Yoga
There is a large, secluded yoga studio supplying mats and an idyllic setting.
Games Room
The games room contains table tennis, a pool table, library and plenty of music.
Home Farm & Wildlife
There are donkeys, pheasants, turkeys, rabbits, countless species of birds; including many owls; Osea Island is the only place in England where all five species of English Owl can be found.
Cinema Room With Surround Sound
There is a mini cinema with surround sound you can use to watch a flick or two during a quiet evening away from work.
Wine Tasting
Osea provides wine tasting sessions which may well be of interest to the connoisseur. Book your session in advance.
