What To Do on Osea Island

There are so many different outdoor and indoor activities on Osea Island that there should be something for everyone. From sailing and fishing to massage treatments and yoga activities that can be organised externally.

To Visit

Boat Hire

You can hire anything from small fishing and sailing crafts to historic, 50-person Blackwater barges at Osea Island. Pre-booking is required. If you miss the tides you can travel from the mainland by river taxi.

Sailing Lessons

You can purchase sailing lessons which are taken out on the estuary. View this beautiful part of the world from out at sea...

If you feel like getting even closer to the water than you can in a boat, then pick up a paddle and jump in one of the canoes that are available to hire.

There is both Sea Fishing and Fly Fishing available to guests on the island.

You can enjoy some excellent beach strolls all year round, or catch the rays while gazing out to sea during the warmer months.

Tennis fans will be pleased to hear that Osea's tennis court is free for all to use. Enthusiasts should bring their best whites!

There is a heated outdoor swimming pool open between April 30 and October 1. There is also a natural salt water swimming bath in front of the Manor House, and of course plenty of sea to take a dip in too.

Gym & Spa

If you fancy a workout or some pampering head to the Gym & Spa. It features state-of-the-art equipment, massage treatment and a sauna. A personal trainer can also be arranged.

There is a large, secluded yoga studio supplying mats and an idyllic setting.

Games Room

The games room contains table tennis, a pool table, library and plenty of music.

Home Farm & Wildlife

You can hire a bicycle or tandem and enjoy the sights of the island on two wheels.
