Pinkmoon Studios

The nearest beaches - Valras-Plage and Narbonne-Plage are about 45 minutes away and the next largest village is Saint-Chinian where you can buy everything you need. There are bakers, butchers, a bi-weekly market, a health food shop, restaurants and supermarkets. Here you can also jump into a river that comes directly from the mountains.

The picturesque village of Bize-Minervois is 20 minutes away, with a river that has been turned into a natural swimming pool. On the way there are wild waterholes for swimming and a few restaurants in the town.

Gorges d'Heric

Wonderful area for hikes and bathing. 

Canoë Roquebrun

Roquebrun is a picturesque little village. The locals call it 'Le petit Nice' – Little Nice. Canoe hire is available directly on the river. Longer tours can be booked, including white water rafting.

Le Salin de L'Ile Saint-martin

A historic and picturesque sea salt production site set among pink-hued lagoons where salt cultivation and oyster farming coexist. You can take a guided walk, watch wildlife, explore the museum: taste local seafood, shop for souvenirs.

Moulin du Rocher

Guided tour of the mill and capitelles. Discover this superb site and in particular the numerous small dry stone shelters dotted along the path, known locally as capitelles. Learn about the history of the windmill that stands proudly on the 'Rocher' cliff. The site offers a magnificent panorama of the Vernazobre valley and the Saint-Chinianais vineyards, with the Grage and Caroux mountains as a backdrop. Free upon reservation Meet at the mill. Le Pied de La Lune is a tapas and wine bar housed in a former family wine cellar dating back to 1900, restored and renovated with a subtle blend of Art Deco and vintage styles. Has an open stage with concerts and exhibitions from time to time.
