A Piece of Nashville Music History

Opened in 1994, the Sound Kitchen has established itself as one of the Southeast's largest recording studios. Home to seven studios, all outfitted with a range of sizes and specifications for all types of musicians, Sound Kitchen is embedded in the cultural fabric of Nashville's historic music scene.

Over the years, countless legendary albums & music have been made here, and we continue to be on the forefront of recording technology, offering analog and digital formats, mixing, editing, and more. When you record at Sound Kitchen, you have found a partner whose commitment to your music is unparalleled. Read on to learn a little more about our facility and which studio is right for you.

While our roots are in recording, we are much more than a studio complex; now, we are a place where our corporate clients can come in for an intimate look at the music industry. Our guests book the Sound Kitchen, not just for our amazing studios, but also for private parties, corporate team building events, studio tours, unique audio experiences, video production, and more. Many Fortune 500 companies from around the globe have held an event or are currently planning their next event with us.

We continue to make music history every day. Every guest and artist who enters the studio learns about our past and works with us for the benefit of Nashville's ever changing music scene!
