The Cold Stores

The Cold Stores is a family-run state of the art writing, recording and rehearsal complex nestled in the heart of the Kent countryside.

Studio A is comprised of one large live room, drum room, accompanying large control room and vocal/live booth. The studio is able to house large bands, choirs and small orchestras and the live room can be rented out separately for rehearsals. Studio B is comprised of a control room, separate live room for tracking small bands, and a vocal booth. The complex also features a large recreation room to relax in and a modern kitchen.

The two recording studios originated as an old apple store building. Owners Clive and Sue Thomas seized the opportunity to take on a new project and carefully designed and built the fully floating, acoustically treated studio complex inside. The meticulous attention to detail has resulted in a fantastic family run studio complex which takes pride in producing impeccable quality recording and service.

There is a young team of talented engineers and producers on hand for live band tracking and mixing.
