TRIXX Studios

Welcome to TRIXX Studios in the heart of Kreuzberg, Berlin. Since 1985 we have been providing the best from vintage analogue to modern digital recording in a relaxed and creative atmosphere. Trixx Studios is owned and run by producer and mix engineer Klaus Knapp.

We have three different studios to fulfil the specific needs of your project:

Studio A exhibits a broad selection of the finest analogue outboard gear and a customized Tascam M700 mixing console with motor faders. The control room has a precise, dry acoustic and is connected to two live rooms (30m2 and 50m2).

Studio B has a generous control room, a live room (30m2) - which allows for very close interaction with the control room - and two amp booths. It is also equipped with a Tascam M700 Desk and many first rate preamps (Tube-Tech, Neve, RFT, Chandler etc.).

Studio C is our production suite, set up for "in the box" productions. It features an SSL X-Rack Console, a couple of great preamps and excellent acoustics. It is home to our Bechstein grand piano and has a small amp booth to record guitar overdubs. In this studio controlling and recording takes place in one room.

We also have an extensive collection of instruments (guitars, amps, vintage synthesizers, drums etc.) that can be used in any of the studios.
It is also not a problem to move gear between the studios if needed.
