Through a combination of carefully crafted sound, natural light and high quality equipment, Studio 1 is the focal point of Forbes Street Studios.

Housing Australia's only Barefoot MiniMain 12 speakers, the control room centres around an analogue SSL AWS924 console with DAW integration, Pro Tools 12 HDX, and a selection of must-have outboard, plugins and synthesisers.

Following the success of our 1st year since opening in October 2016, the gear list has seen an impressive spike, with inclusions such as: Sony C800-G, vintage U47 FET, Neve 1073DPX and Universal Audio 2-610 dual-channel strips, Fender and Vox guitar amplifiers, and many more studio classics.

The live room accommodates 10+ musicians simultaneously, includes acoustic baffles, Ludwig drums and Gibson guitars, and is adjoined by separate vocal and amp booths.

With comprehensive connectivity between each space, including: mic, guitar and speaker tie-lines, MIDI, CAT5, WiFi and ethernet. Studio 1 has all the bases covered for your next large-scale recording project.
