Prime Studio

Prime Studio B is a state-of-the-art mixing, tracking and post-production room. Based around two rooms – a 28m sq control room and 25m sq live space – Studio B is well equipped and provides a relaxed and inspiring environment to work in.

The air-conditioned control room is great for both mixing and post production. It features an Avid S6 M40 48 fader controller and a classic Neve 8016 console that once lived in Caribou Ranch Studios. The 8016 is fitted with its original 1064 (x24) modules and 225/a Compressors (x4). There is a good choice of outboard, a Pro Tools HDX 3 system and an Avid Media Composer video cutting and editing setup. An unusual charm of Studio B's control room is its open fireplace adding to the atmosphere of the space.

Studio B's live room is daylit and air-conditioned. There is a large selection of microphones, a choice of guitars and keyboards and a Yamaha S-4 Grand Piano. The live room benefits from a flexible acoustic that suits vocal and instrument recording. There is also an additional vocal room giving you further tracking options.
