Verdant Sound

Verdant Sound's Live Room A is the creative heart of the studio: a 25-foot-square space with a soaring 40-foot cathedral ceiling and a full glass wall facing the lake.

Professionally treated for clarity and control, the room delivers an expansive, natural acoustic suited to everything from intimate vocal takes and solo piano to strings and ensemble recording.

The space is designed to feel as inspiring as it sounds. With its panoramic views and open vertical volume, Live Room A encourages performances that breathe. It is a room built to disappear into the music, allowing the performance and the surrounding landscape to become part of the recording.

The room is centered around a Yamaha grand piano and also houses a Korg Kronos 3, Martin D-18 and Marshall Studio JTM head with a 2x12 cabinet.

Recording options include a Neumann U 87 Ai, Neumann KM 184 stereo pair, Royer R-121, Shure SM7B and SM57, together with personal monitoring throughout the room.
